We are expecienced in the most popular type of driveway – block paving. This is where the ground is excavated to 200mm deep with layers of hardcore, stone dust and sand layered over the top and banged down hard.

The edging bricks are cemented into place whilst the paviour bricks in the middle sit on 30mm of sand. This allows excellent drainage and gives the surface movement so that any subsidance or ground movement, however slight, will not cause large cracks to appear but will remain hidden.

There are a multitude of different colours, shapes and design to suit any taste or style, and we can hide certain features such as manholes. Below, the driveway has been widened to allow parking for two cars, with the original wall rebuilt with a neat curve to stop car doors hitting it.
